Want to Learn an Instrument but Unsure Which One? Come along to a Free Discovery Workshop!

Our Free Music Discovery Workshops for adults and children are the perfect opportunity to try out some instruments without having to make a commitment.

The relaxed and fun sessions include demos from professional music teachers, group performances and plenty of opportunities to really get to grips with the instruments.

Our workshops are taking place at two locations in Birmingham:

North Area Music School

Located at Bishop Vesey's School 

Group performances and demos followed by a have-a-go workshop.

Monday 19th November : 6pm - 7pm
Instruments to try: Piano, Violin, Drums, Percussion, Electric Guitar.

Thursday 22nd November: 6pm - 7pm
Instruments to try: Violin, Drums, Percussion, Electric Guitar, Cello, Brass.

South Area Music School

Located at Bournville School

Group performances and demos followed by a have-a-go workshop.

Wednesday 21st November : 6pm - 7pm
Instruments to try:
Trumpet, Trombone, Cornet, Viola, Violin.

Thursday 22nd November : 6pm - 7pm
Instruments to try:
Violin, Viola, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone.

Week Two Workshops

The following week (w/c 26th November), participants will have the opportunity to come back and get some more in-depth guidance from our professional music teachers.

In these drop-in sessions, you can try out a completely new instrument or learn more about your chosen one. It's completely up to you.
